Project Graduation 2008

The Youth Enrichment Program provides economically disadvantaged youth the opportunity to participate in sports, academic and other enrichment activities. Starting in 2006, HFY began the Summer Camp Assistance Program, providing partial assistance for  children to attend Park & Recreation summer camps. As well, in 2007 HFY adopted the Child Enrichment Fund, providing assistance for elementary school children to attend the Park & Recreation after school programs.

Income qualified applicants are awarded scholarships paid directly to the activity or enrichment provider to cover a portion of  registration and enrollment fees. We help children to participate in baseball, soccer, swim classes, gymnastics, dance classes, art classes and more. The Youth Enrichment Program assures that any child, regardless of ability to pay, has the opportunity to increase their self esteem, develop leadership and life skills, and enrich their childhood by participating in a variety of healthy activities.  If you know a family who needs assistance, or if you can provide support for this important community program, please contact us.
