Havasu For Youth After School Club

The HFY Afterschool Club provides after school activities for Thunderbolt Middle School students.  We offer a variety of clubs to appeal to all students, ranging from tennis club to science club, cooking class, art club, Zumba, physical fitness, guitar lessons and much more!  The clubs provide hundreds of teens fun learning activities each year!  Club fees are $50.00 per semester, that's for one day a week or up to four days a week.  They can choose one club per day, Monday through Thursday, classes are held on campus and begin immediately after school.

Parents:  Did you know the hours between 3:30pm and 6:00pm are the peak hours for juvenile crime, and experimentation with drugs, alcohol, cigarettes and adolescent sexual behaviors?  Did you know teens who do not attend and afterschool activity are three times more likely to skip classes?  Studies have shown, teens who do participate in programs like the HFY Afterschool Club see improved social skills, better grades, a more positive self esteem and is linked to significant gains in standardized testing and improved test scores.  Our goal is to provide something fun for your teens to do, while keeping them in an environment that promotes positive influences and avoids risky behaviors.
